- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided

- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar, vanilla extract, and cornstarch. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir in the melted butter and milk until just combined.
