- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your pie crust with parchment paper and fill it with pie weights or dried beans. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt. Stir in 1 cup of the sliced strawberries and cook over medium heat, stirring gently until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and add the remaining strawberries, folding them in gently.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into the cooled pie crust, dot with butter, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
