Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Looking for a simple and tasty appetizer for your Memorial Day gathering? Mini grilled cheese sandwiches are a surefire hit! They bring together gooey cheese and crispy bread in a fun, bite-sized appetizer.
These mini sandwiches are versatile—you can use different types of cheese or add extra ingredients like tomatoes or bacon to make them your own.
Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread (your choice)
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite)
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced tomatoes, cooked bacon, or herbs for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place half of the slices, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Top each slice with a piece of cheese and any additional toppings you like. Place the remaining slices on top, butter side up.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, cut into quarters, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
