Balsamic Glaze Recipe

This ⭐️ Balsamic Glaze Recipe is very simple to make. Why buy it when you can make it for a lot cheaper? By making it yourself, you know exactly what is in it, and it will also taste a lot fresher than if you had bought it at the store. This recipe is simple because it only has two ingredients: balsamic vinegar and a sweetener.

Balsamic Glaze Recipe Brown Sugar Ingredient

Many different sweeteners can be used in this recipe. We used brown sugar, but feel free to substitute honey or maple syrup for the brown sugar.

There are so many recipes that use a balsamic glaze that you can save a lot of time by making a big batch and then storing it in your refrigerator for future use.

Balsamic Glaze Recipe Boiling

How to Make Balsamic Glaze

The trickiest part of this recipe is knowing when to stop boiling. Take it from my experience — you do not want to overcook the glaze. Luckily, there is an easy test to see if you overcooked it: Take a wooden spoon and draw a line on the bottom of the pan. If the the line remains for more than a split second, it is overcooked.

Once the glaze is overcooked, it will turn into a glue-like substance when cooled. So, once it begins to boil, turn down the heat and watch closely. The entire process should take less than 5 minutes if you are using the quantities in the recipe.

Balsamic Glaze Storage

Once you make the glaze, be sure to save it in an air-tight container and store it in the refrigerator for future use. It should remain good for about 3–4 weeks.
