With a combination of raspberry, coconut, and blue raspberry flavors, they offer a mix of sweetness and a little tartness, making them a refreshing choice for any summer gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 pack (3 oz) red Jell-O (raspberry flavor)
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup coconut cream
- 1 pack (3 oz) blue Jell-O (blue raspberry flavor)
- 1 cup vodka (optional for alcoholic version)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the Red Layer: In a bowl, dissolve the red Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, then mix in 1/2 cup of vodka (or cold water for non-alcoholic). Pour this mixture into shot glasses, filling them about one-third full. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until set.
- Prepare the White Layer: In another bowl, mix the coconut cream with 1 cup of cold water. Slowly layer this mixture over the set red Jell-O, filling the glasses another third of the way. Return to the fridge to set for another 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Blue Layer: Repeat the same process with the blue Jell-O, dissolving it in 1 cup of boiling water and adding vodka or cold water. Pour this final layer over the white coconut layer. Refrigerate until fully set, about 2-3 hours.
- Serve: Once set, top with a dollop of whipped cream and enjoy your colorful Firework Jello Shots!
