Ingredients
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 package (6 oz) strawberry Jell-O
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup vodka (or any alcohol of choice)
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 package (6 oz) blue raspberry Jell-O
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles for garnish
- Mini American flags for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Start by making the red layer: In a bowl, dissolve strawberry Jell-O in 3 cups of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Stir in 1 cup of cold water. Pour the mixture into shot cups, filling them about 1/3 full. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.
- Next, prepare the white layer: In a separate bowl, combine the whipped cream with 1 cup of cold water. Once the red layer is set, add this mixture on top of the red layer, filling the cups another 1/3 full. Chill for about 30 minutes.
- Now, for the blue layer: Repeat the first step using blue raspberry Jell-O. Once the white layer has set, add the blue layer on top, filling the cups to the rim. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.
