Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1 cup sponge cake or ladyfingers, crumbled

Instructions
- Prepare the Berries: In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar if desired, and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
- Layer the Ingredients: In individual cups or glasses, start by adding a layer of crumbled sponge cake at the bottom. Follow with a layer of whipped cream, a layer of strawberries, and a layer of blueberries.
- Repeat the Layers: Continue layering the ingredients until the cups are filled. End with a generous dollop of whipped cream on top.
- Garnish: Finish off by adding a few extra strawberries and blueberries on top of the whipped cream for decoration.
- Chill: Place the trifles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
