Dairy Queen and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are bringing awareness to the importance of children’s hospitals and how donations help kids — no matter their illnesses or injuries — get the best care when they need it.
Over the past 38 years, Dairy Queen has raised more than $160 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This year, on March 21, participating Dairy Queen locations across the U.S. will celebrate the start of spring with Dip it for Kids, their annual Free Cone Day, to announce to the community that they are once again open for spring.
Customers who visit a participating Dairy Queen location will receive a free small soft serve cone on the First Day of Spring. Some locations will use the opportunity to raise critical funds for their local children’s hospital by giving the cone in exchange for a donation or by adding toppings or dipping the cone for a contribution.
