Homemade Cream Of Anything Soup Mix Recipe
There are a lot of recipes that call for one type or another canned cream of _____ soup (mushroom, celery, chicken, etc) and while this is something that us couponers can usually get pretty cheaply I just find the canned soups kind of…well, gross.Â

So, I looked around Pinterest for Homemade Cream of Anything Soup Mix Recipes and found just the solution and had to share with my frugal HotCouponWorld peeps!
 Homemade Cream Of Anything Soup
Dry Mix:
- 1 cup non-fat dried milk
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup bouillon cubes
- 4 Tablespoons freeze dried minced onions (I used the minced onions from Sam’s Club)
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (I couldn’t find the thyme so I used dried parsley instead)
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- (For the equivalent of one can of condensed cream soup, mix 1/3 cup dry mix with 1 1/4 cup water. Cook until thick)
Are you on Pinterest? If so come and follow HotCoupnWorld This recipe comes from Vicky over at One Orange Giraffe and is a keeper. I made up my own batch over the weekend and it really works!

It doesnt say what flavor bouillon cubes tho…and is that acutually a 1/4 cup of the cubes themselves or the powder??
this would be a great holiday gift for family members. make up and then put in a nice jar with the recipe and how to use!!! or put in a basket with the homemade taco seasoning and some homemade jelly/salsa
On the bullion cubes. I do not understand that. Are you grinding them down to powder ? or can bullion granules be used and what would be the measurement to that ?
