Mixed Berry Tart

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into cubes
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon ice water
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blackberries, etc.)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh blueberriesFresh raspberriesPowdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions:
- Follow Steps 1-3 from the previous recipe to make the tart dough and chill it.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough to fit a 9-inch tart pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim any excess.
- In a bowl, combine the mixed berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes.
- Pour the berry filling into the prepared tart shell.
- Arrange fresh blueberries and raspberries on top of the filling in a decorative pattern.
- Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the tart cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
