Edible Chocolate Play Dough Recipe
Who can resist chocolate? Not my kids and this super easy edible chocolate play dough is a fun little treat (yes you can eat this…it is basically a candy and tastes like a softened Tootsie Roll).
It whips up in a matter of minutes and is a fun little activity to keep the kids occupied. Right now, as I type this my kids are outside on the front porch at a card table and chairs I set up in the shade with a box of cookie cutters and some mini rolling pins and are having a BLAST. I am sure some of the chocolate play dough is ending up in their mouths and you know what, that is OK. It is summer and it is snack time!
This recipe is great for kids who like to eat (or lick) regular play dough as it is totally edible. And you can also switch things up by adding different flavored extracts to make different varieties. We love peppermint, strawberry, raspberry and orange. But feel free to play with it and make up your own combinations!
