Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 packet (3 oz) raspberry Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 packet (3 oz) coconut Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 packet (3 oz) blue raspberry Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Whipped cream or fresh raspberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Make the Red Layer: In a bowl, dissolve the raspberry Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup of cold water. Pour into shot glasses until they are about 1/3 full. Refrigerate until set, about 1-2 hours.
  2. Prepare the White Layer: In another bowl, dissolve the coconut Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup of cold water. Once the red layer is set, pour the white layer on top of the red. Refrigerate for another 1-2 hours until set.
  3. Finish with the Blue Layer: Repeat the process with the blue raspberry Jell-O, using the same method. Allow to set in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  4. Serve: Once all layers are set, top with whipped cream or fresh raspberries before serving. Enjoy your patriotic Jello Shots!
