Bacon Wrapped Chicken
Sweet and Spicy describe this easy to make bacon wrapped Chicken recipe.
- 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
- 4-8 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar split in 2 halves
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp parsley chopped
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl, mix together half the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Add the olive oil to the dry mixture and mix throughly.
Add the chicken to the bowl and completely coat chicken.
Wrap each chicken breast with the bacon. Place the chicken breasts in a baking pan or ovenproof skillet.
Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top of the chicken.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked through, basting the chicken occasionally with the pan drippings.
For extra crispy bacon, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Sprinkle chicken with parsley
