- 1 apple granny smith, golden delicious, your choice!
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tbsp old fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Caramel sauce as much or as little as you like!
To begin cut your apples in half and scoop out the middle with a melon baller or the tip of a vegetable peeler. You want to make sure you dig out a nice little cup in the apple to hold the filling nicely.
Next place the apple halves, cut side up in the cups of a muffin tin. This allows them to bake without wobbling around. And then you want to put a pat of butter on each apple half.
hen, you simply add some oats and some brown sugar on top of that little pat of butter.
And bake them at 350° for about 30 minutes or until everything is bubbly and hot and your apples are nice and cooked and the oats are crisp and yummy!
Then give them a lovely drizzle of some store bought caramel sauce.
And eat. Enjoy. Love that it is Autumn. Relish. Love life!
