Carnitas too die for and the freshest Pan Dulce that wont go stale after 3 days. Throwing a fiesta? This is the spot for all your Mexican ethnic cooking needs. Or buy by the pound in the Deli. Dont forget to grab some Chicken Tamales. Those are the real treat. Authentic, just the perfect flavor maza, that makes you Brown & Proud. A taste of Mexico in California. So worth the visit and the incredible savings!!!!

On a cool summer night, a hunger suddenly had taken me. A hunger which only could be culled by a certain item from a certain place. It was then I embarked on my journey of gluttonous embrace to the nearest Vallarta. I entered the now empty parking lot, which served only as a marketplace for shady dealings at night and gave an echo of the once prosperous community market. With great haste I moved from my vehicle to the entrance of what can only be described as a shrine of blasphemy: Paramour's 'Crush' sets the scene of a now gentrified Vallarta. For shame Vallarta, how you have fallen. You can almost still hear the screams of the lower-middle class pushed out as you walk down the aisle and see a Taco-bell Fiesta taco kit on the shelf. It feeds a family of 4, but what about the countless families pushed out of the area? Who feeds them their tacos? Suddenly I am taken, taken to a place of joy and nostalgia, a place of 'pan'. I furiously fill my cheap plastic bag with these delights. Like a 3rd person perspective, I can just see myself greedily fill the bag full, look around then seal it. As if to say, you now belong to me. I scurry to pay, the cashier gives me a disgusted look as if she knew I was going to eat the whole bag of bread in my car soon after. I then realized she was right in her assumption and instead waited to get home. It was a feast of sin 4/5

good produce and meats section. prices are good, but service can be slow at times. Their kitchen has good pre cooked foods, at decent prices, again service can be slow. Plenty of parking on lot.

I love buying guacamole here.. but prices are really high for everything. There are better options. In addition, I heard from friends and stories about stale products, so this supermarket does not inspire confidence. I put 3 stars

Well 8 must say with all the construction going on this Vallarta is going to be real nice when its finished.... I think it might be the best one yet... though they might want to get a duster and dust around.... the new restrooms are lovely
