Smart Couponing Tip: Order Coupons From A Clipping Service

How do extreme couponers get so many coupons? Some of them order multiple coupons in batches from a clipping service. The average cost of most coupons is about 10% to 35% of the face value with “free item” coupons costing in the upper range of that price point. While it may seem redundant to pay for coupons, if you end up saving 50% or more on the items you are buying it can be a real deal!

I don’t understand why you would tell people to order coupons from a coupon clipping service. Isn’t the purpose of cutting coupons is to save money? I buy 2 Sunday papers every week and a small store by my house lets me have all the extra inserts from let over papers on Monday. There are weeks when I can only get inserts from 2 papers, others Ican get up to 6. Asking friends and neighbors is much cheaper.

I understand where you are coming from Lisa, however not everyone gets coupons in their inserts. For example, I live in a small town and our local paper does not have coupons, so purchasing coupons from a clipping service is a viable option. Also coupon values vary greatly from one area of the country to another, so if you want a coupon that came out in another area you can try purchasing them.

It is great that you can get extra coupons left over on Monday, but not everyone can do that. This is just one tip – we have a whole list of tips on how to get extra inserts here:
