I have been meaning to do a post on making your own vanilla sugar because well, because I love this stuff in my coffee. Seriously it beats artificially flavored coffee creamer hands down for a french vanilla coffee. It is more subtle of a vanilla flavor but that is how I like it. I have a big ol’ package of vanilla beans in my pantry (I buy my vanilla beans on Amazon because they are WAY expensive where I live) and am so going to make this this weekend.
