This place is still GREAT. Their cold pressed OJ is the best in town. Better and cheaper than Wegmans!I went today while waiting for my daughter. Sunday 7am and it was the only one open. Costco wouldn't open until 10am. Staffs dressed well. Helpful. This place was original old school Boston. Folks who went there were looking for deals. And they got it. Staffs knew regular by names and suggested good deals. MB was full of love.Nice staffs. Competitive prices.

Well run. Always busy. Good pricing. Always over 20 OPEN check out lines.Large, clean, fun supermarket with well trained and attentive staff. Lots of fresh produce, savory meats and yummy bakery deserts.Market Basket has now opened a liquor store next door to their bottle return center.Update: November 2021This Market Basket has become my regular super market. Yes it is always busy. However, since it opened, the pricing has been competitive and the produce is consistently better then other local markets in both selection and freshness. Also, the prepared food area has many really good ready to eat foods. They make a very good take out pizza that I often take home for family dinners.

Great supermarket. I wish there was a MB closer to home but I still make a point to come every now and again. Fish is fresh and lots of frozen fish too. Great selection of fresh produce. Good prices on an ample selection of groceries.

I absolutely LOVE this market basket, it is unbelievable how expensive a trip to Stop and Shop or Star Market (Shaw's now). You can go into Market Basket and shop for an entire week and spend 90-100$. You go into a typical grocery store and can spend 200 very easy. Market Basket is family ran and they hire awesome employees. I'm always impressed with their employees, they work and try very hard. I would absolutely suggest going to their meat department (not the deli) and get their cracked pepper sirloin steaks. Get 1-1.5 lbs and their is a dinner for two. It's delicious . Their skewers are also incredible, so easy to make. I really am able to actually ENJOY food shopping when I go to MB. I'm not always stressed about finding the best deals and count on sales, I can just grab items and know that it will be fairly priced. It's clean, isles are big, they are taking COVID very serious, and their employees are helpful...what more could you ask for in a grocery store?

You can find good prices in some products (regular products), although I can't compare vegan/dairy free/organics products because I don't consume them that much. Fruits might be a better option in other place but if you are already there and don't want to visit other store, the price is not too bad either. The service might be good or bad depending of who you are taking to. During pandemic they've been cleaning the shopping cars which is nice also you might clean it yourself if you want. The shampoo area is not too big and not too many brands as I would like to.
