Delivery coordinator couldn't coordinate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You call down there and they are rude on the phone. They do not know what they are talking about and have no regard for the person who is getting a delivery. Am I just suppose to wait here and hope that one day you stick to it and get it delivered. Guess I will take a week vacation and hope it shows up and just have my contractor wait until it does too. Talk about incompetence. And they think it is cute to put people on hold and disconnect the call. It was suppose to be here Friday it is now Tuesday, what a joke!

Twice out of 2 times that I ordered materials for delivery to my address that items were delayed for so long I ended up having to cancel my order entirely and either order somewhere else or went over to buy at the store. First, ordered a fresh tree for the holidays, delivery kept getting delayed and took a week and a half later than scheduled. Delivered to my old address so had to go there and claim it. By then I had already bought another tree from the store and picked it up myself. Second, ordered building materials for delivery since I don't have a truck and nobody to help me haul plywood and 8ft studs up to my car's roof rack, haul it down, and up the stairs to my house. Delivery had to be scheduled almost a week later. Gave me very wide delivery window to wait so had to stay at home all day. Monitored my order status online all day long as well. At 5 pm refreshed my browser and all of a sudden it said delivery was rescheduled to a different day another several days away. No calls or email updates regarding the change. When the rescheduled delivery day came, same situation. 6 am to 10 pm delivery window given again so could not leave home at 5 pm, saying delayed. Called the store, took forever to answer, did not even pick up the phone, just disconnected the call so I called again, was told the delivery folks had already left for the day. Asked the person who answered the phone who I can ask about my order status, she said she will transfer me, phone rang for almost 2 minutes then sounded like someone picked it up and hung up the phone. At this point I just went ahead and cancelled my entire order which you have to do one by one and ordered from another hardware store, the one with the orange logo. Received all my items 3 days later. Also found that while I was cancelling my order, apparently it was generating transactions in the background to my bank card repeatedly. It actually triggered the fraud detection on my account and received a notification from my bank to call and verify activity so they can unlock my card. Contacting my bank to clear things up was actually the easiest part of this whole charlie foxtrot of an experience.

Great customer service. I called ahead of time to see if they had a few items in stock and the person who picked up the phone gave me all the information I needed, including the aisle number. When I was inside, two employees gave me a simple "hello" which is something you wouldn't encounter in most places. Finally at the checkout, I was assisted by another employee when I was not able to get my receipt. All three encounters before, during, and after my purchase were positive experiences, without exception. I would happily come back for my next visit.

Not much knowledge around pretty simple items, like the difference between a portable AC unit vs. a window one. But decent selection otherwise.

This Lowe's is one of the newer and bigger stores in the area with more merchandises and selections available.
