Timothy in lumber was great! 10/10Besides this, every time I go there, the store is poorly staffed (corporate, not the workers, I understand) stock quantities are inaccurate (store said the product I wanted they had 54 of... and employees told me they had 0) it's just a nightmare coming here, I will never come here again unless I have to

I'm more of a Home Depot person, but as we just move to the area I figured I give this place a try. I wanted to get a Nest E thermostat so I get the piece of paper to bring to the counter. The cashier, which was a old retirement aged man asked "what do you want to do with this?". I said we would like to buy it. He said rather confused. On the Nest paper it clearly says to bring this to the counter to purchase. My wife even pointed that out to him. I'm not sure if he had a odd sense of humor or what. The cashier goes off to get the Nest. The cashier next to him (which I'm assuming was his trainer) asked where did he go? I said that we wanted to get a Nest thermostat and he went to go get it. The trainer, seem puzzled and said he was supposed to have someone else come bring it to him. Anyway, 10mins later our cashier comes back, thankful with the Nest, and proceeds with the check out. We give him a 10% off coupon and closely watch to match sure it was added (luckily it was) then came the gift card. He asked if we wanted to use this, I said yes (we wouldn't have given it to him if we didn't want too). At this point we are pushing 15min through this check out process alone. He finally has everything ringed up. He goes "wow you just enough on the gift card for everything"... we say "no" we have more than enough and showed him the gift card balance on the receipt. This guy clearly was not ready to be a cashier. I'm sure he was trying his best, but I spent more time during the check out, (which luckily had no one in line) then the time we were shopping around. Fingers crossed we have a better experience the next time we come by.

HUGE shout out to Lowes Paint team. Brian, Tayler, Sean and Meredith. Went above and beyond today to get me the color I wanted. They are busy as heck and didn't even need to do this for me. I appreciate them so much today as we finish painting our house! Its customer service like this that you strive for!!! Thank you!

Really nice staff at the Monroe location and enough of them to make my visit quick and painless. Not a lot of waiting to check out or to find an item like I experienced in recent visits to the Everett store.They had everything I needed and the price was fair.Special kudos to Tamara who knows her nuts and bolts.
