My go to place for decades; however, don't expect too much actual knowledge in the appliance department if you have a technical or maintenance question. For this very reason, I went next door to Home Depot for a recent washer/dryer purchase.Updated 4-30-22:. Great selection of spring yard supplies...mulch, needles, seed, etc.

I always go to Lowes for a home project because overall most of the associates at this location are good, down to earth, helpful people. Lowe's always has recognized veterans which I'm grateful for as well as other veterans out there long before the Home Depot started to. My recent visit I was helped by Karen from outside lawn and garden assisted me on where I could find item I was looking for. She's always a ray of light when I visit and is an example of true customer service. Love how she's bubbly and goes out of her way for customers. Thank you Karen and your kindness is something we can all learn from to make this world a better place. It's because of dedicated, genuine people like you that makes it pleasant to go back in stores to shop and inspires others to spread kindness especially in a time when we need it the most. Will continue to shop here.

There is no reason, especially if you're doing an even exchange, that you have to stand in line to return something get a refund. Then you have to go & find the exact same item you returned. Next, then you have to find an open register which is few & far between stand in line to use the refund you just got. Have you heard the saying Work Smarter Not Harder? If you have then you know an exchange especially an even exchange is the smartest route to go. An even exchange is simply getting the exact same item you brought back. Your computer inventory wouldn't change so putting the broken item back in your system just so the new item can come out is foolish. Customer service is not what it use to be. I've worked retail so I understand customer service, exchanges even or otherwise, & running a register. Also, all similar items should be in the same place & all stores should be set up the same way. This makes the shopping experience easier not only for the customer but for your employees. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing.
