The workers here are very rude and lazy there are only a select few who actually do there job and do it good. It's a great place to shop but the workers are useless for any kind of help.

We have had mostly positive experiences here for years, but lately the customer service is really lacking. I have a toddler and sometimes it's easier for us to utilize the aisles online option. Last weekend, aisles online neglected to text us for substitutes if items were out of stock. I was out many items on my grocery list and had to call customer service for an explanation and make a trip elsewhere to get what I needed. I thought that the whole point of aisles online was to make shopping easier for busy families and prevent a long trip to the grocery store, but this isn't the first time I've had this issue. This weekend, we placed an order for pick-up at the restaurant. When my fianc brought our order home, none of our sides were included. I called and asked about our sides and was informed that they 'forgot' to give us the sides, so I just asked for a refund on them at that point. The restaurant employees were standing around talking to each other and there were only 3 tables seated so it didn't appear to be super busy. It seems that some of the younger staff on the weekends (high-schoolers maybe?) need more training and supervision. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but these kids really need some guidance on providing adequate service to paying customers. I have worked short-staffed many times so I understand those issues, but there really is no excuse for the lack of adequate customer service. It would take just a few extra minutes to text aisles online customers for substitutes or double-check an order to make sure that everything is included. I'd rather have slower service than service not done right or not done at all. Please take this as constructive criticism.

Friendly staff and clean store, the manager needs help in helping customers and not acting like it's a big deal to help people. Food took an hour to get today .

Always love walking into Hy-Vee and receiving the courtesy from the employees with a smile every time. Clean store an always willing to help you find what your looking for. Just amazing community of people!
