what kind of sausage do they mean ??? for this recipe?
Is it breakfast sausage in the roll??
Mustard Greens and Bean Soup

1 pound sausage

1 onion, diced

1 32-ounce can Mrs. Glory Mustard Greens (Do not drain.)

1 15-ounce can each of the following (Do not drain.):

Black-eyed peas

Navy beans

Pinto beans

Chicken broth

Rotel tomatoes

brown and drain onion and sausage. Add greens, black-eyed peas, navy beans, pinto beans, chicken broth, and Rotel tomatoes. Simmer until hot

Well I'm sure it's too late to help you tonight so what did you end up doing?

I'm not sure either but it doesn't make any reference to slicing the sausage so it may mean the bulk sausage (in rolls or sometimes just sold in packages like hamburger). It seems to me links would be easier to work but that's just my opinion.

Did you get the recipe online?

I make a soup/stew kinda like that @perplexed - mine is just a couple cans (undrained) of black beans, a jar of salsa & sausage. I use the fully cooked rope kind (looks like a hot dog in a letter C shape vac packed & I slice & brown it). I'm sure any sausage woud be good in your recipe & I like the idea of mustard greens in it! Gonna toss greens in mine next time! :thanks7:

your welcome, I bought breakfast roll sausage, the picture of soup in bowl makes me think thats what it may be. I hope
