Now, this sounds right up my alley! Good thing I picked up some $0.29 Pillsbury Cake mix this week!

First I saw this recipe:

Then, I saw this review:

Pie Crust Made from Cake Mix - How to Make Boxed Cake Mix Pie Crust - Good Housekeeping

"Overall, the crust was delicious! It’s very different than the buttery, flakey pâte brisée pie crust you’re used to. This was more like a cookie crust with a crisp exterior and softer, squishy insides, but that’s definitely not a bad thing. We can’t wait to try the same technique with chocolate cake mix.
• Easy to tweak the flavor by just using a different cake mix — can’t do that with regular pie dough!
• Much more forgiving and easier to work with
• Great cookie-like texture"
