My silly RAOK, $10 Amazon GC prize

You really don't have to know anything to win this RAOK, you just have to be good at guessing.

There are four questions, with each having four possible answers. The first person to guess all four answers correctly, will win the GC. Just guess the answers and post them here. Because of the time difference, I may not see the guesses for a number of hours. As soon as I see a post, I will "like" it. If you see that I have liked it but not announced a winner, you will know that the right four answers have not yet been guessed. You can make as many posts as you want, but you have to wait until one other person has guessed before making another post. To collect the GC, you will have to send me your preferred Amazon email addy but only if I announce that you have won.

Obviously, do not make the same four guesses that somebody else did, because it won't help you even if the answers are right -- remember, it is only the first person who makes the right guesses will win.

(BTW, all four are words from songs but not necessarily the name of the songs. Also, some are in French and Italian, but I am asking the purists to forgive me for not including the accent marks. My keyboard doesn't have them. You do not have to understand the foreign words.)

1. When my daughter was 12-years-old, I took her to Paris and at one point in the trip I said something to her. Which of these was it?

Le jour de gloire est arrive
Je te plumerai la tete
Je vois la vie en rose
Sont des mots qui vont tres bien ensemble

2. What were the first words I ever said to my daughter (when she was an infant and I held her)?

Wherever you're going, I'm going your way
Penso che un sogno cosi no retorni mai piu
Pretty woman, the kind I'd like to meet
Bella ciao, Bella ciao, Bella ciao, ciao, ciao

3. This is something which reflects an experience I have had many times (and probably so did you):

Searched all night, my heart was breaking
I was working in my lab, late one night
I have often walked on this street before
Could it be our boy's done something rash?

4. These words are from the first American song I ever taught my son:

The Yanks are coming, the drums rum-tumming everywhere
For amber waves of grain
You're a grand old flag
I wish I was in Dixie

FIRST HINTS:

There are 256 possible combinations, which are quite a few. I think I should give you some hints in order to increase your chances.

1. None of the words I used came from any country's national anthem.

2. "Bella Ciao", which could mean "Hi Beautiful", can also mean, "Goodbye Beautiful" and the song was about an Italian Communist partisan who is leaving his love to go into the mountains to fight the Germans. He expects to be killed but thinks that it is worth it to get a Communist regime in Italy.

3. I love to wander through foreign cities, but I do not enjoy walking down the same street over and over.

4. I was born in Brooklyn and lived for a number of years in Pennsylvania. With all due respect to southerncoupon lady, I really do not wish I was below the Mason-Dixon Line.

If you pay attention to all of those hints, you will be left with 81 possible combinations, which is a lot better than 256.

Second set of hints:

I never threatened to pull out all of my daughter's hair.
I said the same first words to my granddaughter when she was born -- which proved that I was wrong when I said them to my infant daughter.
I never met Lotte Lenya or Lucy Brown.
The song which is the right answer for # 4 was written by the same person who wrote another song quoted for that question.

Third set of hints: "Could it be our boy's done something rash?" comes from the song "Mac the Knife" which mentions how he was involved with many women, including Lotte Lenya and Lucy Brown.

If you do not understand either French or Italian, you might want to use Google translate to see what the quotes mean and whether they could apply in these cases, keeping in mind what I said in my second set of hints.
