How To Link to a Specific Post Within a Thread.

    Some of the older threads around here are quite lengthy, like this one. It has a staggering 34,613 replies at present. All posts within a thread are numbered. Here is post #2381 in a particularly long thread:

    Step 1: To link to this post, I first need to "copy the link" to it. Do this by "right clicking" on the post number (see above picture). A pop of box will appear. I am on a Mac, so your pop up may look slightly different (yours may simply say "copy"):

    Step 2: Now you can "paste" the link into a new post. To paste, right click your mouse, and click "paste." Mine looks like this:
