Chicken Pot Pie and Waldorf Salad tonight.
DH made dinner. Can you tell?
We've been busy and I haven't had much appetite so just grabbing things for dinner.
Last night we had B1G1 Carl's Jr. Big Fried Cheese Burger.
Tonight was a Healthy Choice T.V. dinner -- Lemon Pepper Fish with Rice Pilaf, Broccoli and Baked Apples.
I made my own meatballs and gravy ( with hot and sweet sausage) and paired it with Barilla spaghetti.
For D3, I made pasta I Ceci. It is chickpeas with ditalini pasta.
Tonight we had Korean Beef Whole Grain Power Bowls with an Asian Chopped Salad
Yogurt for dessert
Orange Chicken, Vegetable Stir-fry and Vegetable "Fried" Brown Rice
We didn't really have "dinner" last night, however, we had delicious elk gyros for lunch with apple coleslaw -- all made from scratch at an historic hotel in Jackson, Wyoming.
The night before we enjoyed a nice salad bar. Shouldn't have, but ordered a side of smoked turkey breast since the best/probably only salad bar in Jackson is located at a BBQ joint.
Tonight we'll have Sweet and Sour Chicken with Ginger Soy Noodle Stir Fry -- a new product we're looking forward to trying.
On Monday and Tuesday, I had leftover pasta with my gravy plus meatballs and sausage. Last night I had a tunafish sandwich.
bratwurst on a bun and macaroni salad.
Tonight we thawed out some chicken breasts to boil & shred then mix with some Knorr Chicken Fried Rice side that I got from Dillon's I believe last week when they were on the 10 for $10. The chicken was B1G1 Free a few weeks ago as well from Dillon's..... Teaching the man how to do a quick throw together when the pantry is dry.
Tonight we're having baked salmon, roasted baby potatoes and roasted asparagus.
Turkey breast, baked potatoes, dressing, turkey gravy and roasted asparagus.
I had a rice noodle package soup and brought home Wendy’s chicken nuggets
The boyfriend is making some hamburgers for us tonight. Guess he's feeling a little stir crazy after sitting in the pickup while I attempted a Walgreen's haul
I plan on making tacos tonight and splitting into 2 meals. For sides, I will use a microwave cup of Basmati minute rice and tomorrow, I have wraps I can use. Topping include some spinach salad, taco sauce and mushrooms.
I do not know what's for dinner tonight. All I know is, I'm not cooking. Hubby said for me to figure out what sounds good, and he'll pick it up on the way home. Birthdays have their perks!
HappyBirthday, Carol and many more!
Tonight for dinner, I am having leftover taco meat with rice and veggies.
Happy Birthday @XUfan!
Tonite we had grilled fillet steaks wrapped in bacon from Aldi (never tried before), baked potatoes, green beans, asparagus and grilled french bread slices. It was all good.
My dh was so excited when I showed him the fillets, he dropped what he was doing to fire up the grill...he didn’t offer to help unload the car...he was off to the back yard!
Thanks Jastwins and Flowerkitty!
Hubby ended up having to work a little later than usual, so we got subs for dinner. They were really good...and I didn't have to cook!
Back in the kitchen today, though. Although, I don't know what will be on tonight's menu. I'm leaning toward fish, rice, and roasted asparagus.
Tonite will be breakfast for dinner.
Eggs, sausage, potatoes w/ peppers & onions and either pancakes or waffles ( maybe).
With the pancakes & waffles we can use some of the homemade freezer strawberry or peach preserves
Last night we had Spicy Garlic shrimp over rice, with Italian green beans as a side.
Tonight, Hubby will have chicken, and I'll have tilapia. But that's as much as I know right now. I don't know how I'll prepare them, or what we're eating with them.
