Kroger Whole Wheat or Flour Taco Tortillas 10/$10.00 WITH CARD

Do you happen to know what page of the ad the tortillas are on? I tried to buy some whole wheat ones today and our store was out -- as usual.

I've looked through our ad preview twice, but can't see the tortillas.

I'd like to at least get a rain check if our store doesn't get them in by the end of the week. Once in a great while I can find them on the shelf, but very rarely.

They were out of a LOT today which made shopping VERY challenging, but maybe if they are in the ad they'll get some in ... hope, hope, hope!

Preview says page 8 I think, with the 10/$10 items, near the top.

I'm thinking we must have different ads again. We've got a case lot sale going here and that is page 8 of our ad. I wonder if that is the difference?

I did check the web site and the price is $1 there, it is just we have such a tough time finding them on our store shelf. The web site thinks they are in stock, but it thought that yesterday when we couldn't find them. I was hoping to have an ad to show.

I couldn't even find a shelf tag for the whole wheat tortillas yesterday -- and they weren't on sale then. I can't figure out if they constantly sell out of them, if they get shorted on their shipments or if our store never orders enough ... they seem to rely on the computer WAY too much there instead of a human seeing what is on sale and realizing they might sell more.

We used to have the Ole Xtreme Wellness wraps/tortillas at Fred Meyer, but Smith's didn't sell them. Then when the Live Naturally magazine ran a coupon for them more than a year ago, they suddenly disappeared from the shelf for weeks/months. We finally had to ask and they claimed this region lost its distributor. :(

AFTER the coupons expired they showed up on the shelf at Smith's. FM stocks from West of here and Smith's stocks from south, so I guess that is the difference -- although things like tortillas and bread are usually stocked by local distributors. They never have been replaced at FM.

They were on this last mega sale, but you had to buy 10 items. We had a REALLY hard time finding 10 items in stock at FM, which is a much larger store. Everything seemed to either be out of stock or something our store didn't carry. We still haven't recovered from a lot of the Covid shortages here, but the FM store an hour away carries things our store doesn't -- even though our store has slightly more square footage.

The idea of having to find 10 items in stock at our smaller Smith's store was inconceivable, so we had to skip them. Sure hurt to walk by them in the store, but I didn't want to buy something like a bunch of chicken broth as a filler just to get tortillas. They got rid of most of our whole grain pasta, so we don't even have that as a filler any longer.

If they ever take one or the other chain away from us here, we're sunk. I've got a list in my head of products they only stock at FM and others they only stock at Smith's. If they take one chain away from us like they did an hour from here I may have to check out WinCo more carefully.

If It were just senior day I'd understand, but merchants in our town seem to have a grudge against anything they deem "health food." We don't even have a health food store, so the Fred Meyer "natural foods" section and discount outlets are often our only option. The whole wheat tortillas usually aren't on the shelf the rest of the month either.

Do you know if some of these offers are personalized or did they just run out of this offer?

I still haven't tried the cashback offers, but this one looked tempting. Went to the FM page (I bookmarked it when you mentioned it earlier ;) ) and I don't have that offer. Found another couple possibilities that I may try. They aren't really stellar deals, but I'd like to see how they work for me.

I could use a bit of advice on how the Fred Meyer Cashback deals work.

Decided to give them a try for the first time today. There was a Campbell's Soup offer -- 35 cents back on two cans -- and the offer included tomato soup which is on sale this week. I checked again before we left for the store and the offer was still shown on my deals list after I clipped it yesterday.

I clipped two other offers along with it, but figured the soup one didn't have much risk in case it didn't work or if I did something wrong.

I bought the two cans of soup and then have checked the site several times since we returned home. Instead of three deals on my list, two are all that are listed now. The Campbell's soup offer is missing. However, my cashback total in the column still says zero -- it doesn't list the 35 cents I should have gotten for purchasing soup.

Do you happen to know how long they take to credit after you make a purchase or did they take the offer away in the short time it took between when we left the house and when we made the purchase?

The Kroger Cash Back usually takes a day or 2 to credit. It shows up in the balance, and in your Loaded Deals list, they show up at the bottom with a redeemed date.
I started keeping a list, with my balance, what I bought and how much I think it should be, and then record the new balance when it comes through. Otherwise it is really easy to lose track because of the delay.
Some of them may be personalized, I know some of the Ibotta seem to be, best I can tell the majority of Ibotta are fairly universal then a portion seem to be either regional or personal. If you use an Ibotta offer and it comes back, sometimes the new value is lower. And some Ibotta offers are at Safeway but not FM or vice-versa.

FM had the Jell-O Unicorn Magic Cupcake pudding $2.29, free/mm with $2.49 Ibotta (Snacks) and counts towards the 50c National Unicorn Day Bonus (you also need to buy the Kraft Unicorn mac & cheese, Bonus x 4/12/21)

The wording on that Ritz Crispers one is obscure, I think it probably means you can buy either one (or) but it is worded as an 'and' so who knows.

The Campbell's one did show up today, so at least now I know how it works.

Wish I had the Ritz one, but I still don't.

I've got one for Wasa Crispbread that I'm toying with buying. I LOVED Ry-Krisp and didn't enjoy Wasa nearly as much. I got a really big craving for Ry-Krisp a few weeks ago and the craving is still there, however, since they no longer make the stuff I haven't had it in years. I'm trying to decide if I can satisfy the craving with Wasa or if I'll just be disappointed ...

I currently have over 200 Cash Back offers, it might be you'll get more offers when you start using them, but I'm not sure.

I got a free after rebate Ibotta offer a few months back on Wasa - at Whole Foods, I hadn't bought it in forever.

I got a free after rebate Ibotta offer a few months back on Wasa - at Whole Foods, I hadn't bought it in forever.

I've got close to that number -- 196, plus two loaded and the Campbell's offer would make 199.

Our store tends not to have a lot of things we can find over on the Coast, however. The web site STILL thinks our store sells the Ole Xtreme Wellness tortillas and they've been gone from the shelves for more than a year now. We've got to buy them at Smith's if we want them -- and it is a lot smaller store. Smith's didn't sell them while Fred Meyer had them. It is like musical chairs trying to shop around here. They were on the last mega sale, but I could barely eek out 10 items in stock at once at Fred Meyer, so didn't even try at Smith's.

The closest Whole Foods stores to us are about three or four hours away in Salt Lake and Boise. I DO miss having a health food store here.

Salt Lake has not only Whole Foods, but Natural Grocers and Sprouts. Boise has Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, Trader Joe's and a thriving local Co-op that keeps expanding. Even an hour away they've got Natural Grocers and a really nice local health food store. We've got none of the above. Even years ago when GNC used to sell a limited supply of health foods, I couldn't get the manager here to order things even if I offered to pay in advance! My husband has gotten used to me hauling home a car full of things I can't get here when we travel.

Thankfully, we've recently gotten a small, locally-owned discount grocery here and it sells a LOT of things we can't find in any of our regular grocery stores. Many if not most of the items he gets are still in date -- but then you've got to stock up when you find a deal, because it probably won't be there the next time.

I still haven't gotten into ibotta. It is the phone app idea that is the big turn-off for me, even though I tell myself I should get going. Fred Meyer lets you add offers on the computer, so I figured I'd get my feet wet that way. The few times I've tried to use the phone app at Fred Meyer to check something, I had a hard time finding anything on the small screen -- mostly because I'm not used to using it.

I was going to get my own Tracfone a year ago, then they forced DH to upgrade his and I let him have the phone I intended to use. I figured we're together most of the time anyway and I really only needed one when we traveled out of town.

Tracfone has been a pain-in-the-behind ever since the upgrade. Customer service has REALLY gone downhill and he has had NOTHING but trouble since then, so it REALLY is NOT an incentive to get one. It is a shame, because we were impressed with Tracfone customer service for MANY years before that.

I'm able to black out personal information on receipts using Photoshop on my computer, but I'd have to learn how on the phone and since I hardly ever use it I can't motivate myself to learn. :D

Another option is the ship (for non-perishables), I used it a while back on something FM quit carrying a few years back, and I couldn't find it anywhere here, but it showed as available (ship to home) when I Googled it, free shipping with a $35 minimum order and 15% off first order with SHIP15 code.
https://www.fredmeyer.com/d/ship

I was having issues with my tracfone lately too (Mobile data quit working), I fixed it by removing the battery for a few minutes. I had tried lots of other things, but that actually worked. I removed the SD card for a bit too, but I think it was probably the battery that worked.
You might be able to use your old phone at home with wifi without it being currently activated, I can do that with my old phone, I can use apps on it. You might be able to go into settings and change the font size and such to make it easier to read, but having a bigger screen really helps.

Nice deal on Incogmeato $4.99 Mega sale, I have $2.50 Kroger Cash Back up to 5X (expires in a few days) and there's a Cat - $3.50 wyb 2 or $1.50 wyb 1 x 5/2/21 which worked. Cat printed immediately after 2 were scanned. They had a burger version and a fake chicken version, in the freezers with the frozen burgers and frozen chicken nuggets, not with the MorningStar.

That Incogmeato deal sounds like a great one @iwik ! Unfortunately, I don't seem to have it either. I've been toying with whether or not I have enough freezer space to take advantage of the Cat deal, but Kellogg's requires phone activation to print the coupons (unlike the other coupons.com coupons) and I didn't have any other coupons/offers. I've heard they won't accept no-contract phones like Tracfone, even though we've had ours for years and they already have our landline number to prove residence.

We tried both Incogmeato varieties a while back and they were good. I think we've tried other veggie chicken nuggets with a bit more flavor, but still not bad. The burgers were really good. Maybe since we've already purchased them, they don't think they need to offer us cash back to try them. Who knows how the computer algorithms work?

I'll probably end up skipping the deal since I've been trying to clear out space in our freezer. We'll be able to shop some Grocery Outlets in about a month and I always find so many great frozen food deals there, but rarely have the freezer space. All three of our Grocery Outlets on this side of the state closed years ago and we really miss them. Can't understand WHY they failed, but I don't see signs of them opening another any time soon -- even though they are expanding so rapidly everywhere else.

Only had a few items on our shopping list today, but the store seemed to be out of most of them. It is almost like we're back in pandemic panic again at our store the past several weeks. Lots of empty shelves in the paper aisle and items that never reappear on the shelves when they run out. Has your store had Craisins the last few mega sales? That temporarily unavailable sticker has been on our shelf for what seems like months.

I checked on the Wasa today, but it doesn't look like our store carries the varieties I wanted -- which were cheaper -- even though the computer thought the store had them. Decided to mull it over again, to see if I want to buy the others.

The Cottonelle wipes were non-existent, as well. They've been gone for months, but since they offered us a small cash back offer I hoped the computer was right about them being in stock. However, they've still got the unavailable sticker, as well.

The answer is probably no, but do you know if the cash back offers work from one Kroger chain to another? My cards are linked, so coupons I load at one store usually work at the other. I loaded my offers on the Fred Meyer site, but sometimes I can find things at Smith's that I can't at Fred Meyer -- and vice versa.

I suspect the old phone is beyond charging by now. It was a really old one and Tracfone did upgrades that antiquated it a year ago.

He woke up one morning and no longer had a phone that worked, so I ended up giving him the one I was going to use. We already had it on hand and don't have any merchants in town that sell the higher end Tracfones. I had ordered this one and waited a couple weeks for it to arrive. We would have had to drive to another city for next day orders -- and it was in the middle of all the Covid lockdowns. Places like Best Buy an hour away were closed and it was going to take too much time to order one.

He had quite a time getting his minutes switched over, which hasn't been a problem in the past. Up until the past year we had few complaints and were quite impressed.

Then he was supposed to get a $15 gift card for registering the new phone. It never came and he got nothing but a runaround for weeks with customer service. Once he was promised it was coming and the phone number he asked for if there were problems routed him to a disgusting phone sex outfit.

He finally had to write corporate to get any action.

The phone came with a year of service and we were promised repeatedly that our triple minutes would transfer. The year was running out and he added another card. At first it added the correct number of minutes then ALL his minutes (old and new) vanished and the customer service representatives gave him constant runarounds for more days -- all the while, he had no phone. One told him the minutes would be restored and they never were, then the representatives after that insisted they "were not authorized" to restore them. Finally, they would only agree to shorting him 1,100 minutes -- less than he had before he added the new card!

He had to go through Facebook to finally get that mess resolved. However, now in another three months we're afraid we'll be faced with the same nightmare.

The phone verification requirements for printing coupons is pretty much universal now, probably because there were people abusing the system for a while, but as long as you only use the one computer to print you only have to do it once per application, I know I had to do it for coupons dot com too. But if you use a private/incognito window or change browsers it won't work, presumably it uses cookies.
None of the newer smartphone tracfones triple minutes any more, but your existing minutes, data and texts should transfer. I know FM keeps the phones behind the counter at Customer Service these days, so you might want to ask there. The last one I got was like $30 and does everything I want. I asked at Customer Service, wrote down the models and went home and researched them. I just use the regular cards (like the $19.99 or $29.99) with 90 days activation, and top up data and/or texts as needed with a card I only find at Safeway, but you can do it online too. I haven't really had any issues with them, but it is always frustrating when things don't work as they should. Of course a year ago everything was getting weird, people were starting to work from home. My only complaint is you have to 'check balance' periodically, they don't let you know if your data or texts run out, it just quits working right. So you can just buy a one year card or a 3 month card at the store and add it through the tracfone web site, it generally works fine.

The individual cards are what we've always done with DH's Tracfone, as well. We get some fuel points offers at FM and figure that works better for us than the one year cards, it is just that the phone came with a year of service, so we used it.

We don't have Safeway here (it deserted us at least 30 years ago) and Albertsons has been a bit slow coming around to deals -- even though they are headquartered in Boise. They are getting better and I've been shopping there more because of it, but they still give better offers to other cities in the state -- including the stores an hour away from time to time. Whatever the market will bear. :(

We still don't get anything close to the deals you get over there with your combined Safeway/Albertsons ads. I know Albertsons offers us some things like 8x or 10x fuel rewards on very select gift cards. I should pay more attention, but they usually seem to be cards we don't need and since we don't have fuel centers around here we use our rewards for groceries rather than pay the really inflated Chevron prices at stations where we'd have to drive quite a distance. Pendleton is about the only place we actually use "fuel rewards" on fuel. That makes FM/Smith's the better option for gift cards for our needs.

I do fine with our landline on coupons.com. When they ask I'm able to get a verification through a phone call instead of text. However, for some reason the Kellogg's coupons.com/Brinks will ONLY accept a mobile phone. I wrote Kellogg's and asked if there was a way to do it through landline like I do on coupons.com and got absolutely NO response.

Later, I was speaking to a representative about some other problems on the rewards site and mentioned the mobile versus landline issue and the gal told me that we HAD to use mobile to print Kellogg's coupons now. There was no other option. I used to be able to print them, but now I can't.
