Another thread reminded me of this recipe. I used to make it, several years ago...when I was still able to eat chicken. It was given to me by an old friend, so it won't hurt my feelings if you change anything about it to suit your taste. It's been a long time since I made it!!

Crockpot Italian Chicken

Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 envelope good seasons Italian dressing mix
1/2 c. water (or chicken broth)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms pieces and stems, drained

Place chicken in bottom of crock-pot. Combine salad dressing mix and water. Pour over chicken and cook on low for 5 hours.
Mix soup and cream cheese and mushrooms. Pour over chicken and cook one more hour or until chicken is done.
Serve over rice or pasta.

Thanks Carol! It sounds great. I wish I could find some good deals on cream cheese. I haven't had any in months.
