To Our Customers,
Over the past few weeks, it’s become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge. Like you, we are deeply concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our communities and our families safe and healthy.
On behalf of Bed Bath & Beyond, I wanted to send a personal note to you to let you know how we are responding to the situation. We are humbled by your loyalty, and we take our responsibility to our customers, our teams, and our partners very seriously.
From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our preparedness plan reflects those inputs. As things evolve, we are actively monitoring the situation and assessing risks, and are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure a high level of safety. We will continue to communicate with you in a timely and transparent way so you can continue to shop with us with confidence.
What We're Doing:
• We are introducing rigorous additional cleaning procedures, and are increasing the number of wipes, hand sanitizers, and other cleaning materials available at check-outs and throughout our stores for associates and customers to use. We've also suspended all in-store food sampling events during this time.

• We are working around the clock to ensure our customers have access to the products they want and need, especially items that keep their families safe and well. We have implemented limits on certain purchases so that everyone has an opportunity to obtain in-demand items when available. We are also making it easier to find the products you need quickly, in-store or online, or simply utilize our “Reserve online, pickup in store” option.

• We’re taking sensible steps to help protect our team of associates. This means fewer meetings, limiting travel, and making it easier for our people to take the time they need to care for themselves or their families in the event they are directly affected by COVID-19.

• We are monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt and continue to provide the products you need and the best possible experience in-store and online.
We recognize this is a challenging time for all, and we remain deeply committed to the safety of our customers, teams, and communities.
Our customers are the heart of our company and we look forward to welcoming and serving you wherever and however you choose to shop with us.
Please take care of yourselves and each other,

To Our Customers,
In this time of great uncertainty, our first priority is the welfare of our customers and associates. This unprecedented situation has no manual or guidebook; we are all in it together, figuring it out and making decisions on a day-by-day or even hour-by-hour basis. Our mission is to make it easy for you to feel at home and we remain committed to delivering for you however we can, during this difficult time.
STORE CLOSURES: Some of our stores carry a wide range of essential items like cleaning supplies, health, wellness and personal care products, while others do not. With continued mindfulness toward balancing two aspects of public health, minimizing spread while also making necessities available, we are closing approximately 800 stores that do not carry meaningful amounts of these supplies, through April 3, 2020. Stores that do carry larger assortments of key items will remain open, with reduced hours, unless local authorities have directed otherwise. Associates will be provided with pay and applicable benefits during this period. For details on specific stores, please check our website.
STORE HOURS:
Beginning Friday, March 20, Bed Bath & Beyond stores that carry essential items will be open for reduced hours: 11a.m.-7p.m. local time Mondays-Saturdays and Noon-5p.m. local time on Sundays. These modified hours will give you ample time to shop for items you need, while ensuring our associates are able to restock shelves and perform cleaning and sanitizing duties, while keeping them safe.
CUSTOMER SERVICES: Along with our decision to close select stores and reduce hours, we are also extending our return policy by 60 days for your convenience. You can also continue to shop online any time at bedbathandbeyond.com. We are replenishing products as quickly as possible to meet the increased demand, but you may experience a longer than normal response time.
There is no doubt that we are in uncharted territory, but of this we are certain: we will get through this, stronger and more resilient than ever. From everyone at Bed Bath & Beyond, we thank you for your support and hope you stay well, stay safe and take care of one another.

To Our Customers

Temporarily Closing All Stores Tomorrow
Bed Bath & Beyond is 100% committed to doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and that commitment has been at the forefront of every step taken during the past weeks and days. Given the rapidly changing COVID-19 guidance, we've made the decision to temporarily close all Bed Bath & Beyond locations in support of national efforts to combat the spread.
Starting Monday, March 23, all Bed Bath & Beyond locations will close until April 3.

We realize the impact store closures will have on our associates and assure you the well-being of every employee is a top priority. We want to take care of them in the best way we can and will be providing applicable pay and benefits for this period.

In light of this decision, we want to make sure to give you flexibility regarding any returns you might have and have extended our policy to allow returns for up to 240 days from the date of your purchase.

We remain open online and will continue to serve you through our website at bedbathandbeyond.com. We are enhancing our online capabilities while our buyers and distribution teams are working to replenish products as quickly as possible, so you can purchase and receive other essential items easily.

In this time of great uncertainty, our best defense is to all work together and be good to one another. Stay well, keep safe.
