[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Ingredients:[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]4 C flour[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]2 C brown sugar[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]1 T baking soda[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]1 t salt[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]¾ C oil[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]1 C molasses[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]2 C boiling water[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Preheat oven to 350 degrees.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Mix the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and oil until it resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside ¾ C of the mixture.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Mix the molasses with the boiling water and pour into the crumbs. Stir until just mixed. The batter will be lumpy.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Pour into a lightly greased cake pan, top with the remaining ¾ C of crumbs.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until cake tests as done.[/FONT]
