Do your kids love tv shows like Yo Gabba Gabba! or Backyardigans? If so then they are really going to love creating their own plush little friend with the Happy Toy Machine. I was given the opportunity to review this fun new company and their online software for creating a personalized stuffed animal or creature!. And I have to say it was a lot of fun and very easy to do. I sat down at my computer with my youngest daughter, Carly (age 6) and we got to creating her very own stuffed “Love Bunny”. Except for entering in the shipping address part she was able to do most of the designing herself using the very easy to use online interface. I only needed to give her instruction a couple of times and a few suggestions as she picked and choose what color her bunny was going to be, what design would be on it’s front and flipping the creature over to pick out a tail. I have to say that this was so simple a child could do it!

When we received our “Love Bunny” from Happy Toy Machine my daughter practically tackled the box and was ready to tote it off for a tea party with her baby dolls and ever since Mr. Love Bunny has had a reserved spot in Carly’s bed every night!

If you have a favorite stuffed animal that needs a quick freshening up but you don’t want to put it in the washing machine (or it is not machine washable), just rub a little cornstarch into the toy’s fur. Let it stand awhile and then brush out. If the toy is a little musty smelling use baking soda and cornstarch instead!
