Wish Big Win Big Promotions at Shaw’s and Jewel-Osco
Tuesday, November 15th, 2011Two Supervalu chains unveiled Wish Big Win Big Promotions with coupons and prizes running through February 2012. Both Jewel-Osco and Shaw’s Supermarkets will be participating in this Holiday Giveaway Game. This definitely reminds me of the McDonald’s Monopoly game or the game Rite Aid had last year.
You will want to grab a game board which looks like this:
Obviously, I shop at Shaw’s.
Then every time you make a qualifying purchase transaction you will earn a game ticket. Also, buy specially marked “Bonus” items and you will earn a game ticket. Look for the special “Wish Big Win Big” signage in stores to find your bonus items.

Open the ticket to reveal money-saving coupons and game markers. The four game markers can be affixed to the corresponding space on your game board. Fill up the required spaces for a prize and then submit a form you can obtain at Customer Service to claim your prize. Do not affix your game markers in any permanent fashion to the game board because you are required to attach your markers to the form to get your prize. Read the official rules for Shaw’s or Jewel-Osco for more on how to claim your prize. Low level prizes will be awarded at the customer service desk. Prizes $20 or less at Shaw’s and $50 or less at Jewel-Osco are considered low level prizes. All other prizes will be claimed via the mail in form.
There are also some Instant Win prizes available for free products, extra game tickets, etc. that will be in select game tickets. Instant win prizes may be redeemed at the store.
Additionally there is a $1000 shopping spree sweepstakes available at both stores. If you get the two required game markers to enter the shopping spree follow the instructions on your game board to mail those in on a 3 X 5 index card. 28 shopping sprees are being given away from each company. Winners will be selected by random draw. You may enter the sweepstakes more than once but each entry needs to be submitted in its own envelope.
The coupons that I received in my tickets were nothing exciting so far. Like .25 off an 8 pack of Brawny paper towels. But they are store coupons so you should be able to use them along with any manufacturers’ coupons you have.
