• Hillshire Farms Inner Voice coupon. I don’t know what my inner voice is saying but if yours is saying “Get coupons now for Hillshire Farms”, then watch their short video and get a .55/1 Lunchmeat or .55/1 Smoked Sausage coupon. Or share with 3 friends for a $1 off coupon. Prints from Bricks.
• Like Green Mountain Coffee on Facebook and choose from $1 off on 10 oz. or 12 oz. bag or $1 off on 12 count k-cups pack coupons. You can also get a $2 off code for your online orders. When you click on the “Fair Trade” tab wait for the big picture to load and then click on that. You will have to allow them to access some of your profile info to get to the coupons.
• Laughing Cow has a progressive coupon available on their page. You need to share a photo of your favorite student or yourself with a lunchbox by today 9/30/2011. The more photos that get shared, the higher the coupon value, up to $2. It’s at .75/1 right now.
• $1/2 Claussen Pickles. Yummy!
• Boogie Wipes-they aren’t glamorous but if you have kids you probably want these. Get a .50/1 coupon when you like them on Facebook. This is a pdf coupon expiring 12/31/2011.

RecycleBank is a relatively easy ways to earn points, these points can then be turned into coupons, gift cards or even magazine subscription. To get started, create an account or login to your account. You then will see a menu at the top of the screen. Earn Points will list out the available options that you can do to earn the points. Get Rewards lists out the available rewards that you can cash your points in for.

How to Earn Points – Chose Earn Points from the top menu. You will then see a list of options to earn points. Choose one of the options and click on the words underneath the picture. You will either be given a pop-up screen to answer a question or will be taken to the next page where you will have to answer a question or pledge to be greener to earn those points. The questions and pledges are geared towards recycling and conservation. Once a task is complete, you then chose Get Points to add the points earned to your account. You must click on the Get Points link to add your points. These points never expire!

This is an oldie but a goodie…my better half – AKA – Julie Parrish – AKA – hotcouponmama,  my fellow business partner and co-owner of HotCouponWorld was filmed on her local news station KATU in Portland OR, back in 2/2010. This clip was a really great clip that she did on how to stretch your grocery money when you are on government assistance.

According to the Wall Street Journal blog 1 in 7 people in the U.S. receive food stamps (SNAP) so I think this video is relevant. Also back in 2004 my own family was receiving food stamps. My husband was in a serious accident at work and both of his hands were crushed in a coal bed methane drill rig. Weeks prior we had just learned that were were expecting twins (children 4 &5) which was a unexpected surprise to us as well. Using coupons and smart shopping strategies helped us stretch our Food Stamp dollars, turning the $125-$150 a month we received into $400-$500 worth of food and built us a stockpile to get us through the rough patch where you no longer qualify for assistance yet your income is not quite where it needs to be to thrive on.

If you are on government assistance in the form of Food Stamps or WIC (Women, Infants & Children) you can use coupons to make those funds last longer. Here are some of my tips:

C’mon couponers, our nation’s kids need you! Did you know, that every nine seconds of every school day, a child drops out? For such a wealthy and educated nation, we have horrible drop out statistics. But P&G is helping the cause, and so can you.

Here are some things you can do:

Redeem your P&G coupons from 7/31. P&G will donate $.02 to Communities In Schools, the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization. The donation is uncapped – so the more you save, the more you give.

Go to the P&G MyGive page on Facebook and click on the education tab. You’ll find interesting and useful information there, as well as a John Legend video. Watch it! P&G will donate another $0.25 per viewing, up to $10,000. Watch once a day, every day.

Thank you for your support of this endeavor. This is a cause that is really near & dear to my heart, as I am training to become a Special Education Advocate. Our kids need us—we can’t let this continue.
