HotCouponWorld Newsletter Sign-up Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes are open to all legal United States residents 18 years of age and older as of the entry date. In accordance with the Children’s Online Protection Policy (COPPA), we cannot accept registration from anyone under the age of eighteen. COPPA provides protection for children while online and prohibits Web sites from accepting any identifiable data or information from anyone thirteen and under.

2. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Go to www.hotcouponworld.com/newsletters and sign-up for a HotCouponWorld Newsletter from July 1, 2010 through July 31, 2010 (the “Promotion Period”). All confirmed newsletters subscriptions will be entered in to the Sweepstakes. One (1) entry per verified email address.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded consisting of an Apple 8GB iPodtouch. Actual Retail Value of the Grand Prize is $199. Six (6) First Prizes will be awarded, each consisting of an Amazon Gift Card in the amount of $50. Actual Retail Value of each First Prize is $50. The total Actual Retail Value of all of the prizes awarded in this Sweepstakes is $499.

4. DRAWINGS: Potential winners will be selected in an electronic randomized drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about August 9, 2010.

5. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning a prize in any particular drawing depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

6. NOTIFICATION: Potential Winners will receive prize notifications via email within 7 days after the Sweepstakes Drawing has been conducted and he/she will have 72 hours from the receipt of winning notification to confirm that the notification has been received. Winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability Release within 14 days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply with this deadline may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

7. USE OF INFORMATION: The information that you provide in connection with the Sweepstakes, may be used by the Sponsor in connection with the operation of the Sweepstakes such as to communicate with Entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes or on a Sweepstakes winner’s list. 8. WINNERS’ LIST: The list of Sweepstakes winners will be posted at www.hotcouponworld/newsletters. To receive a list of the Sweepstakes winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by August 30, 2010 to: Coupon Girls, LLC, 1968 Carriage Way, West Linn, OR 97068.

9. RELEASE: Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. We reserve the right to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes or disqualify any entry in the event of technical impairment by computer virus or otherwise.  In the event of early termination, we will randomly select winners from all eligible entries received at time of termination.  In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered.  This Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state and local laws with venue in Clackamas County in the State of Oregon. 

10. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Except where prohibited, by participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and their respective related companies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective agents and agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) downtime for scheduled maintenance; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of Submissions; (f) late, lost, or undeliverable mail; (g) defamation which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from disparagement of the Submission; or (h) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
