A wish list is a members list that consists of coupons that the member will need for a long term basis. Quick trades can be conducted in the Trades: Current Coupons And Offers, or Trades: Expired Coupons forums.

This forum is for parking of members' wish lists, which members leave in one spot and update regularly.

Each member is allowed to have only one thread in this forum.

Once you have created your list of coupons that you are wishing for create a new thread with your username in the title. Example: "MyUserName's Wish List". If for some reason you need to delete your wish list from the forum please let the forum mod know so that she can delete your list from the alphabetical listing.

Items that are permitted to be included in your wish list:

• Actuals
• Checks
• Concealed cash (CC)
• Coupons
• Expired coupons
• Free samples
• Gift cards
• Money Orders
• Paypal handling fee (PPHF)
• Postage stamps
• Printable coupons
• Promotional forms
• Rain checks
• Rebate Forms
• Try-Me-Free forms
• UPCs

Items that are not permitted to be included in your wish list:

• Cash Register Tapes (CRTs)
• Complete deals (UPC, CRT, and Form...all items needed for a rebate)

We ask that you do not post any portion of the UPC Number of the coupon in your trading posts. A moderator WILL edit this out, and a warning and /or infraction will be issued. You MAY however post if a coupon is DND 5, DND 9, or store only coupon coded (ie starts with a 0)

We ask that your limit the bumping (replying to your thread to make it "bump" to the top of the page) to once per day. This gives everyone a chance to be seen. Bumping your thread on the same day it was created is not permitted. You may have friends bump your posts as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Editting/updating your OP is not considered bumping. Adding a reply stating that you have updated your OP is bumping. Members that are found guilty of not following the bumping rules will receive a warning or infraction as determined by the mod in charge.

Violations of these rules are subject to a warning or infraction.

Here at HCW we strive to offer neat, clean forums. If you know longer wish to have a list in the Wish Lists: Seeking Coupons or Actuals for Trade Forum, please use the alert icon so that we may remove it in a timely manner. All posts in the Wish Lists: Seeking Coupons or Actuals for Trade Forum will be purged from the system by a Super moderator, the head moderator of the trading forums or the forum moderator in the event that the member has not logged into HCW at any point in two months time.

Can't seem to edit/update your wishlist? Check the date of your wishlist. Created over a year ago?


The reason is that the website software HCW uses makes threads created over a 1 year ago uneditable.

The easiest solution is to make a new wishlist. Just copy & paste over to a new thread. Don't forget to send me a PM with your new link and I can update the alphabetized directories with your new wishlist.

It's a minor hassle, but only takes a few minutes to fix. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!

I would suggest these things when making your list:

1. Write your list on paper first, before you type it. Sometimes, we forget the most basic things when we sit down at the keyboard!
2. Break it down into sections (canned, frozen, HBA, cleaning, pet, etc.), or alphabetically. This makes it easier for the person you're trading with to pulll coupons for you.
3. List the stores in your area, and whether or not they double. That way, you might get coupons that are specifically for your store. Also, if you can double, you'll want different values than if you can't.
4. Ask other people in your household to suggest things for your ISO list. You might be forgetting something!

Also, look at other peoples wish lists, posts in the trades forums for ideas. There are also forums for printables, rebates and all the other non insert sources that give you great ideas for things to add to your WL. Dont forget about our coupon database. You can search by brand, coupon type, date and more to find the best coupons to help you save the most money.

Don't forget your friends and relative who aren't on HCW! I have things on my WL that are for my daughter and her roommate, my son and his kids, and some very dear friends of ours. I'll trade my coupons to fill envies for them too!

There are several ways you can help your forum mod.

If you no longer use your list, or it's outdated and you need to make a new one so that you may edit it, please change the title to "delete" and click the report button in the upper right hand corner to get my attention.

Please include WL, wish list or such in the title of your Wish List. Periodically when reviewing the forum, I'll see posts that don't include any indication that they are a wish list. They get moved, and lost. Don't let this happen to your list!!

This is how you add your wishlist to your siggy.

To put your wishlist link in your siggy.
Go to your wishlist page.
Copy the address bar.
Go to User CP.
Click on Edit Signature
Click on
Then paste the address bar or url you copied from your wl page.

Preview signature.
You should be able to click on the link and go straight to your wl page.

This makes it so much easier for everyone to find your wl .
You can also name your wl anything you want.
(To do this you can trim the copied url link, once you have linked it, and leave your id & wl entact or just the word wl . As long as it has already been linked it doesn't matter what you put over it. It will still take you to where you linked it) You can use your id & wl name or just put hl. As it will be in your siggy. It is obvious it is wl .

After you previewed your siggy and approve it. Make sure you save signature.

Why can't people access my wishlist. I can't access it either for some reason. Any ideas? Thanks.
