With the BOGO sale this week, one $10 off $75 or more, plus my lovely (and necessary) WIC checks our OOP was 179.11 and we saved 194.40 :D

Hopefully now that we have a good stack of coupons I'll get better at this :)

I had my list all made out hoping to reach the $40 before q's so that I could use the $5 off coupon, only to find out that they did not have enough of one of the bogo cereals that I needed to make the deal work:frown:. I thought I would be oop about $10 - $15 for my entire order. Fortunately, I noticed that they had clearanced all there small boxes of cheerios. There was a couple of blinkie coupons next to them. After reading the coupon I realized that there was no size restrictions on them. I quickly looked in my stash of q's to see if I had any more and also found a few laying around on the floor and on and under the shelves. Praise the Lord for a lazy cleaning crew. Anyway, here is what I bought:
1lb ground beef x 2 =$5.18
Hunts 4 pack pudding x 8 = $8.00
Excedrin PM x 2 = $6.00
Hamburger Helper x 5 = $5.00
Serving size boxes of cheerios x 30 = $7.50
Kashi Vive Probiot x 3 = $3.99 BOGO Cereal
Kash Granola x 1 = $4.29
I was going to buy $2.50 worth of grapes as well to put my total a couple $'s over $40 so that I could use the $5 off coupon. But in my excitement to get to the cash register, I must have left them in the the scale. Anyway, when the young man rang me up it came to only $39.96. I was so sure that I had calculated correctly I was confused for a minute but then I grabbed an m&m pack to put my total over. I am not going to bore you with the details of the 29 coupons that I used. I will just get to the good part and tell you that I bought 52 items and only spent $1.49 out of pocket. I was in shock myself! The cashier and the manager were impressed. Quite frankly, so was I. I came in with a plan had to tweak it and ended up even better than expected. Thank you Jesus! I was so proud of myself I called my husband and my mom right away to tell them about it. At the bottom of my receipt it says that I saved $75.46. Don't think I can ever top that, but with 6 mouths to feed and 2 more on the way, I'm sure gonna try.

Last week at Krogers I got 1 Excedrin for Migraine Sale$1.99 q$2.00off = they owed me a penny!
Sunday I went to Great Scott and got a FREE seedless watermelon normally $5.99/each with 10 gallon gas fill up at $4.02/gallon!!!

I've only been coupon/saling for a month but I'm getting better!

Sunday went to my moms and picked cherries that made 4pints minus pits frozen= FREE!!!
Sunday bought 2 quarts of strawberries at a local farmers market for $3.00 each. Today I normally would of thrown out what hadn't been eaten and were starting to go bad.
Today I cut off all stems and bad parts and still got 3/4 of a pint frozen NOT all thrown away!
We also just planted a small vegetable garden because vegetables are so expensive.

I must brag cause I shocked myself and as previous poster stated cashiers were impressed. Manager said I've never seen that before. Your a pro. I'm not really. I'm a CVS girl. This one just sorta happened. I found a 10/$75 cat on the ground in the parking lot last week at Winn dixie when I went in for my free cat food. I used it today. I got 52 items pre Reward Card and Manu. Q's $189.76 worth of stuff. After Reward card $77.75, but............Drum roll.......after Manu. Q's and 10/75.........I only paid $6.01 WOO HOO! I had no idea my oop was going to be so low. They were out of some stuff I wanted too, so i too had to improvise (sp?) on a few things. Got my rainchecks though. I'm pretty sure Kibbles n bits was suppose to ring up $4.99 bogo and it rung up $5.99 bogo. So had it rung up correctly my oop would have been $5.01. Thanks to all of ya for your help and posts!!!

Ok we are very new to this as well, but it is definitely exciting to see all of the savings. Kinda overwhelming, b/c we feel the need to grab every sale that we possibly can, but we are getting there. So for our total yesterday at Kroger it was $13.51....for 67 items. These included: 1 Gallon of Blue Bell ice cream, 2 boxes ok Keeblers, 6 cans of Bacardi margarita mixers, 13 Planters peanuts, 1 bag of Nine Lives cat food, 1 bag of hashbrowns, 1 tube of Colgate toothpaste, 1 bag of dog food, 3 Mr. Goodbars, 4 bottles of French's mustard, 1 bottle of Pert shampoo, 4 boxes of PastaRoni, 2 Kit Kat bars, 27 packages of Kool-aid. I gotta say this is way beyond better than I could have ever expected. I am so thankful for this website, the savings are remarkable.

WOO HOO!!!!! ADDICTED TO SAVING!!!!!!

Today I went to Winn-Dixie and was thrilled with the bargains.

20 Pert Shampoo
2 Hillshire Kabalsa
1 Sara Lee Hot Dogs
1 Seedless Watermelon
1 Gallon Milk
5 12 Packs of Coke

Total before coupons $125.98
Total OOP $5.42

I called my husband when I got home - he had me fax a copy to show people at his work - it's so cool to have my own personal cheerleader (aka DH).
