    QUESTION Question on Fuel Perks

Winn-Dixie in my area has just started offering fuel perks, I understand you have to spend $50.00 to get the perks. I'm wondering is that $50.00 before or after coupons? Also, I noticed a page of "special" purchases that said buy one get .05, buy 2 get .10 buy 3 get .15 off a gallon. For these do I have to spend $50 and then buy these items, or can I purchase 3 of the items listed and get .15 off a gallon?

Thank you for your help with this.

It can be a little confusing. The $50 is a running total before coupons. If you spend $30 in one trip and then $20 in the next trip, it will track it and once you hit $50- the .05 fuelperks is added. I think if you spend $50 in one trip you get an extra $0.05 (so $.10 for that shopping trip). Once you hit the $50, it adds the fuelperks and then starts over totalling up to $50 again. Make sense so far, lol?

The special fuel perks items can be purchased individually or included in your total to the $50. You will get credit regardless of how you purchase the special products... as long as you purchase the size/amount specified. For example if the deal is buy one can of tuna at $1 and get an extra $0.05 in FuelPerks... you can buy just 1 can of tuna and get the $0.05 (added to your running total). Or you can buy 50 cans of tuna in one trip, getting $0.05 bonus perks for each can PLUS $0.05 for hitting the $50 mark.

There are at least 3 categories for the Fuelperks. You get credit for hitting $50 each time, you get credit for any weekly special fuelperks items purchased and they also have a baby club where any baby purchases total up to $25 (I think) and then you get a $0.05 fuelperks bonus.

The fuel perks points expire. I want to say they are good for 4-6 weeks, but I am not positive. Hope I didn't confuse you too much! :)

Thank you, that helps a lot. Now I think I can make this work for me ;) Now I understand how people can be getting such cheap gas, only heard that on the commercials though.

No problem. I was kind of all over the place with my explanation, so if you're still confused... I'm sorry! :)

We generally have to fill up our gas tank once every 3 weeks or so. Usually within that time frame, I earn $0.50-$1.50 off per gallon of gas thanks to Winn Dixie.
