Searching for a BOGO advertised product...

I have coupons for the dishwasher detergent I use, Finish Quantum. It is usually an expensive item but this week it is on sale BOGO at Winn Dixie. I checked with my local store and with another store in the area. Neither of the two stores had the product. They did not even have a space on the shelf where the product might have been kept.

The manager told me that perhaps it is a discontinued item and they are trying to run through their inventory. There are not very many Winn Dixies in my area. Has anyone ever heard of the stores sending product from one store to another? Might I place a special order for the number of packages I need. Or should I just call as many stores as I can until I find the product?

I have been waiting on a BOGO for this product. I know Publix also did one recently, but I did not have the coupons at that time.

Sorry, no idea about stores sending product to each other. I don't think you can special order something after it's been discontinued (if it indeed has been). But then again, I've never tried. I think your best bet may be to call the stores in your area and hope to find some to be put aside for you. Good luck!

Thanks for responding. I have called all the Winn Dixies in the area and none of them carry the product any longer. I won't be able to complete the fantastic deal I was thinking of doing. I will have to go to a lower priced store like Walmart or maybe even Target to see where I can get the best deal. Those Finish Quantum coupons expire over the next two weeks.

Are you talking about the Quantum tablets or the self contained unit that holds 12 washes because I use the unit and when RiteAid had a B1G1 I couldn't find them and I see that alot of stores are not carrying them anymore so I am starting to wonder if they are stopping them because they did not sell enough. I found the refills for them at Big Lots cheap but of course they do not take coupons lol. My WD had the units this week but they were not part of the sale and the units were $9.99 each.

I am talking about the tablets. They were part of the sale. It may well be that they have discontinued both tablets and the automatic unit. I tried using the automatic unit, but it did not work very well for me. The tablets work great but, like the automatic system, are very expensive.

When Publix had the tablets on sale BOGO, I was able to get two for 6.99. If I had my old coupons, I could have gotten $3.00 off for each and only paid $.99 for both. But back then I knew nothing about combining and BOGOs, so even though I did get the Publix BOGO, now that I have coupons that I can use and a BOGO at Winn Dixie, it seems the store does not sell the product anymore.

It looks like I'm always a day late and a coupon short when it comes to big savings.

I have the same problem. I had a couple q's and used them for the bogo deal to try. I love the Quantum tablets. I think they worked much better than Cascade. So, I went on my next trip to use the rest of my q's and they were gone. :( Even the spaces weren't there and they had lots! It is now filled with another (new?) Finish product. I am so bummed...
