Well, no freebies again this week. Hopefully all the complaining will do some good, but from the canned responses everyone’s getting, it doesn’t look like anything will change.

Honestly I don't see a lot of coupons for canned veggies of any brand, so if you need them, it's probably not a bad deal. There are lots of coupons for canned tomatoes, but not regular veggies.
I don't buy canned veggies at all, so I can't say how they'd taste. That would be my only concern.
we eat canned veggies all the time.No room in the freezer for frozen ones and the fresh ones are sometimes to expensive for me.We like the way they taste but that may be because we don't know any better :)
I know at walmart the allen green beans were like .44 each but the mixed veggies are higher priced so I think in the end it will work out about the same or a small few cents savings at WD but I hate to go to walmart unless I really have to.

I'm right there with you about WM. Hey, while you're there, you know you can get those little tiny boxes of GM cereal (not the bowl, single-size boxes) free using teh $1/2 inserts that came out a few weeks ago. I know you didn't say anything about cereal, but heck if you're going to be there anyhow...
It's not a bad price for canned vegetables if you need them. I usually watch and they all go on sale periodly at different grocery stores for .33 to .48. At least they do here in Alabama

I've noticed that cob corn is very expensive this year. I'm used to seeing it at least 10/$1 and sometimes even better at least a few times a summer.
I do like seeing that prescription coupon. It's just in time for me to move my scrip.

Got some great stuff last night! I got:
round steak $5
20 boxes GM single serve .50
Reynolds crock post liners $1.25
apples $3.xx
bananas $1.07
total OOP was $7.xx.
I used the steak Q from the home mailer and 10 of the GM $1/2 Q's. Reynolds crock pot liners are on clearance for $1.25 marked from $2.49. I love those things! I used a 50/1 on those too. Also had a $1/banana WT.
