Default WD Baby Club & WIC?

I just signed up for the Winn Dixie Baby Club and I have a few questions. I get WIC and I'm wondering if scanning my card and using it to buy all of my formula will count towards my points on the rewards card?

Also, I have a couple q's for free Huggies jumbo pack and one for a free Mega pack of Huggies. If I buy this and use the q's to get them free, does it still add to my points?

For anyone who was asking what they send you when you sign up... I just got my little pamphlet and I got the following q's: 1 free pack of Kuddles diapers (how are these? anyone used them?), 1 free pack of Kuddles wipes, and a $10/50 groceries coupon. I was pleased when I got this! I wonder what else they are going to send? Also, does anyone think the free packs of diapers and wipes will count towards my points?

Thanks ahead of time!

I am not sure, but I think the free packs of diapers and wipes will count towards your points (both huggies and kuddles).

I do not think the formula will, however, as many of these programs exclude any government purchased items. Such as CVS and the prescription coupons, they cannot be used if you have the government healthcare.

Maybe someone else more knowledgeable about this can chime in.

I'm sorry that I don't have more recent information to give you, but it has been some time since I lived near a Winn Dixie. However, four years ago things purchased with WIC did earn you Baby Club points; also, points were accrued before manufacturer coupons. I only got one month of formula on WIC b/c I breastfed, and that was before they did baby food, etc.; but formula was on sale when I got it so I had them scan my card to get WIC the sale price. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw all the points accumulated at the bottom of my receipt.

All the grocery stores here that accumulate points for various things (mostly fuel) all count the pre-coupon total--manufacturer q's are a form of tender, not a discount granted by the store. Again, I'm sorry I can't tell you 100% for sure re: Winn Dixie now, but that is the way they used to be :)

Completely different store...but I was in there baby program...with there card and got WIC and we got all the perks that the card gave. WIC is still run through like a purchase so it shouldn't matter.

Medicaid is different which is why you don't get any prescription extra's when you are using medicaid to pay for it.

We were going to a kroger store at the time (smiths) and my son was on nutramagin...and dang that stuff added up nicely for the gas perks. Same when we used retailer checks to pay for it (we only got wic for 2 1/2 months) and coupons.

Default Re: WD Baby Club & WIC?

Yes formula from WIC count's towards your baby rewards. If I remember right so does the WIC approved 64 oz. Juicy Juice apple juice which if it is on sale BOGO you can get 4 bottles, 2 paid by WIC and 2 free ones. (The BOGO sale happens about once a month)

The $10.00 you save after reaching 200 points is automatically deducted from your total rather than an OYNO or GC sent to you. The register will prompt the cashier to push a button to deduct the $10. Your total will have to be at least $10 to use it though. If you are making a WIC purchase that will bring you over the 200 points level be sure to let the cashier know that you do not want the $10 reward to count toward that purchase.

I don't know if the diapers frees will count toward the rewards points. But CVS and Walgreens have deals on diapers fairly often which I find to be better. For instance CVS just ran a deal in July that if you purchased a jumbo pack of Huggies you got a 3.00 Extra Care Buck. You can still get the 3.00 even if you used a Free coupon. If your not in a hurry to use those Frees I would wait for some type of promotion like that. Or you could combine them with the $10/50. If you hand over the $10/50 first then the frees you could use that $10 toward more diapers or whatever else you need.

As a member of the baby club I got a $5/30 each month in the mail. Plus several $/$ OYNO. Including some that were $10/30 baby purchase.

yep! And yes; you earn points for Juicy juice also. And always when there's a BOGO deal, you get the extras and they don't count toward the purchase!

(that's when I use the JJ coupons too since I can use two and reduce the WIC amount by 2 bucks while also getting two extras :) ).
