Winn Dixie - FREE (MM?) Beech-nut Let's Grow mini meals - Help!!

In the 3/31-4/13 ad (W/d has two ads running right now according to their website??) Beech-nut Let's Grow! mini meals are BOGO, 1.59. Use this:

Beech-Nut Let's Grow! Product, 1/1 Any - 01-03-10 SS

1.59 -1 -1 = .47 overage?

This would be soooo easy @ Publix, but how would it work at W/d? I've never tried a deal like this there before.

possibly if your card is scanned last. Didn't work last week with 4. The cashier wouldn't scan anything until she had the card, so she voided 2.

Geesh. What difference does it make to the cashier when they scan the card really?

Dh tried this out for me with two of them tonight. He gave the Q's first and then the card with no issue. I have such a stack of these 1/1 coupons from doing more trades than I probably needed to. I hope I can cut it down a little with this sale.

I can use a coupon for every item-even the freebies. I also do self-checkout sometimes and do my coupons first, and then I enter my phone number for my card. ;)

The difference for me is how their registers are programmed.

In the past I could only use a q for each on the bogo before my card scanned. After it scanned it would beep because it deducted off the free items.

Now I have 2 stores that I don't worry about scanning my card last. It works like it does in other stores - I can use 2 coupons for 2 items.

The other 2 stores,,,,,I don't go to - it beeps and beeps no matter if I give my card last or first. One I can't use a coupon on a free item,,,,just an icky store.

Really? We're so close... my stores allow it. Odd. I'm in Port Richey, and I have two stores, and they both let me. I guess I'm just lucky.
