This is so great!! For the first time my food bill came out below $200!!! I'm not a complete expert as of yet...but I saved $58...and built a little stockpile. The Chicken sale was great!! I filled up a quarter of our freezer!!! I see steak is going to be on sale next week.

I also bought a bunch of the chicken, I also stocked up on the carrots as they are easy to freeze & I am always using in stews, soups, fresh stir fry, etc. & some of the potatoes. I have never frozen potatoes before but somone here gave me a hint on how to do it so I am going to try it for the 1st time.

I'm glad you had a good shop, I also focused on stocking up on the boneless chicken this week.

I never thought about freezing carrots, what a good idea. I have many bags of baby carotts from the previous frees. ;)
