The 2/17 ad has 7-Up, A&W, RC Cola, and Diet Rite on sale for .69 each. Publix has a coupon for $2 off wyb any 3.

Math:

.69 x 3 = 2.07
- $2 Publix Q = .07 for all three

Forgot to mention that the Publix Q is in the yellow advantage flyer!

It's not a manufacturer coupon, so unless there's a WD that takes competitor coupons, this won't work. :(

Wow-and we're both in FL, too! I call no fair! The only places here that take competitor coupons are Sweetbay and Publix. Great deal for you, though!

I'm in the ft. lauderdale area. when i asked the cashier if they took publix q's she said no, but a cs rep was standing right there and told us that they did. i tried the deal at another wd as well. when i got to the cashier she also said they didn't take publix q's and called the cs manager over. the manager told her that they're all supposed to but most of the employees "never got that memo." i would try talking to cs or calling corporate. i got 24 2-liters for $1.57 total OOP. a huge life saver since my oldest is having a big b-day party soon! my 3-yo is also having a bday party in a couple weeks... although the kids won't be drinking the soda at least i have the grown-up drinks now.

Wow, you are lucky. I have a hard time with manufactures coupons. I can't imagine them trying to figure out how to use another stores coupon. I always get the "if it don't scan we don't take it" Good for you.

I work at a local Florida Winn Dixie and I am a cashier. I can sympathize with you all on the coupon crisis. However, I was told a long time ago that we do not take competitor's coupons, Ie: Publix etc. because our system was not set up to take them or some such silly reason.

I have also had the customer ask me to call over a manager and have them tell them the same thing, that we do not take them. I am not sure how that works with accepting coupons from other competitors because how do we get the money back that we took off? Take them to Publix and turn them in to them saying

"Hey, we took these coupons that say they can only be used at Publix at our Winn Dixie, please give us the money we took off."

As for other places taking competitors coupons, and NOT having you have to carry a "Customer Reward Card" I say cudos to you, wish we did and didn't, would save me a lot of time and nastiness from customers, as if "I" have anything to do with the Policies and Procedures that they tell me I must follow in order to keep my job.....

Think about that next time your in the line, I keep it in my mind that if I keep you happy and you keep coming back, I get more hours AND I keep my job!!
