What are catalinas?

Hello ladies!

I am new to the coupon clipping world and am getting pretty good, if I do say so myself. However I have been trying to figure out what these catalina deals are, where I can get them, and how they work? I'm afraid I'm not finding great answers in the forum. Any help or suggestions please! College student living on a dime! :) Thank you!

They are coupons that print from a little machine at the register or the self-checkout stand when you buy something. Usually, a particular purchase will trigger a certain type of Catalina, so you won't always get one when you check out. They're called Catalinas, because that's the name of the company that runs the machine.
