Free Kraft Natural CHeese if you have $1.50/2 Qs from Dairy Flyer

Hi All-
I posted this in the Catalina forum- but thought it might be better seen here and help some people to take advantage of some free cheese.

There is a catalina deal right now- buy 4 Kraft Natural CHeese get $3 OYNO

There was a $1.50/2 Kraft Natural Cheese Q in the Dairy Monnth Flyer at the beginning of the month.

Kraft Natural Cheese is on sale this week at Winn Dixie- 2 for $3 for shredded, chunk or crumbles

Buy 4, use 2 Qs and pay $3 and get back a $3 OYNO catalina- making it free. You can just keep rolling it into free cheese after that by using your cat & 2 Qs the next round.

I just got back from buying 12 packages for 50 cents (I only had 5 $1.50/2 Qs and then used a $1/2 q instead. But since I already had a $3 cat that I used in the beginning and still walked away with another $3 cat I think technically I made $2.50!

HI, when does this sale end? I got some of those coupons while in Fl...I could mail them to my sister to do this deal if I know there's time for her to get them.

The sale ends on Tuesday I believe. I think it is just part of a week-long special. But the catalina deal is good until 7/12 which leaves 2 more weeks to possibly use the Q's to get a catalina if there is another good sale.

Could you give more specifics as to where in the store these might be found ..if...they are even still around?

The dairy flyer came out in the beginning of the month (it looks like the store circular- kinda newspapery and in color), and since the prices were only effective until 6/16 you probably won't see them in the stores anymore (but it can't hurt to ask the manager in case they have any stashed in the back). In the beginning of the month I had noticed the manuf Qs were good til mid-July, so I had grabbed quite a few, but wish I had grabbed more!

I grabbed some because they were manufacture coupons & not store specific.

I have been looking for the Dairy Flyer, it is no where to be found anymore. With the .50/1 coupon I have been getting 5 for $1. Cheese for .20 a pack is a good deal for me.

I ended up just using the .50/1 also and paid $5 for my first transaction and then $1 for the second one. I agree not bad at all.

Does anyone know if cheese freezes well?

Maybe others can post which cheeses worked for them. Some have reported problems with the block cheese not producing the cat.
But these worked for me....all shredded....all 7 oz...all 2%....all Kraft Natural.

Colby/Monterey Jack
Mexican Style Cheddar Jack
Mexican Style 4 cheese
Italian three cheese
Sharp Cheddar

I was too wimpy to try any others. Would have loved some kind of cubed or sliced. Please report if any of those work.

Cheese does freeze very well. On the package it does say do not refreeze after it is thawed. The only issue I have had is that some of the block cheese gets very crumbly after it has been frozen.

Benz~ shredded cheese freezes very well. I do it all the time. I've never tried any other but I've heard they don't do as well. I'm gonna have to clear out some room in the deep freezer for this deal!
