 Re: New $/$$ Catalina values??
My card which I've had for years and years and used for lots of big shops rarely gets any $X/X except the Baby Club $10/$40 that I seem to get each month. Rarely I'll get a $10/$100 unless I make a bunch of small purchases then I might get a $10/$75.
My Dad shops there regularly (small shops) and he often used to get a $10/$50 each time. So I started giving his phone number and presto chango, he doesn't get them as often and when he does they have been $10/$75. Please don't tell him what likely happened 
I've also wondered if they tend to issue a bunch on a certain date or something.... I sometimes just cruise the parking lot or floor around check outs and if I find one coupon, I'll likely find 2 to 5 more......
BTW if you have kids, I bribe mine by telling them I'll give them $1 for each one they find. The first time, they weren't very interested until I picked up 5 of them and they realized they had just lost out on $5!
