Winn Dixie coupons not taken for B1G1

Went to winn Dixie today had my list and coupons ready (Im really new at this but thanks to everyone here I'm learning) anyway I had tons of b1g1 items and coupons to go with them even ordered some off ebay for the sale and the cashier refused to take the coupon for second item i say "what" , "yes" you can i've done it before she continued to be correct and rude about it, saying you can not take money off something we are giving you for free. I said yes you can, then she said they wont pay us the money for it and we aint losing no money, i asked for manager(getting embarresed now as people wait on line)
as he comes over she says "she cant use coupons on the free item right" then he agrees, I explain well ive done it before here and even did it yesterday at publix(I scored there). so they refused most my coupons, I put back the pork which was b1g1 and $1.00 off each and some other items I'm really on a budget. I was so embarresed and angery I wanted to leave my cart there but I paid for it had to write check cause I went over what I had I spent $75.00.
(Did save $72.00 but I couldve save a heck of a lot more)
as i get into car I call their corperate , I had another rude person Oh my luck! she wouldnt even let me explain my story and kept keeping me off anyway she tell me that its up to the manager to decide what coupons to use, I said "what" no its up to corp.
Told her thats "bull" so if I go one day i might be able to use the coupons and I go the next day and I cant if i get a differnet manager.
What is up with this company...I'm so pissed she took my complaint bet no one calls back but I will keep calling till I get a correct answer!
oh and I also called publix manager even though I was there yesterday and It worked there (B1g1 with coupons for each!) he said they dont mind at all as long as they dont have to owe you.

I have never had that problem at Winn Dixie! I'm sorry you had such a horrible time with them. The only problem I've ever had there, is them not accepting competitor Q's & that just depends on the cashier I get.

I started helping my mom coupon, and she went yesterday with some coupons I sent her. The cashier told her the same thing. That she could only use one q for the bogo. Is this common? There is not much competition where she lives, and I believe the store is well aware of this. I think I might email corp to see what the policy might be. I hate for my mom to get discouraged on her first couponing trip! She ended up spending more than she intended trying to use the q's.

That cashier was so full of it. They WILL get paid for their coupons from the manufacturer no matter if it was on a free item or not. They send the coupons in to a company and they pay them for the amount sent. They do not ask if a store got them on an item you paid for or got free.

I would have been so mad.

Please let me know what corp said i called them and had a rude lady bet no one calls me back. as far as I heard they are losing alot of business so they better start treating their customers right.

yes i know i used to work at met food supermarket in ny, thats why i got even more pissed i did tell her she will be paid for the coupons they are not going to match them against the reciept like she did, she was just rude and wanted to play boss...lol hopefully i will find out today when i call the manager and if i dont hear from corp by tomorrow i will call them again

Called store manager he spoke to people in corp office , he said I CAN use 2 coupons on B1G1 he
appoligized and wants to meet me the next time I go to the store and he said for my troubles he
will give me a gift certificate. I want the cashier to appoligized to me as well.
