What is a winetag?
A winetag is exactly what it sounds like: a coupon or MIR that hangs around the neck of a wine bottle. They can be for many things like bread, beef, chicken, turkey, flowers... Some require a wine purchase, some don't.

I have never seen them in Tennessee. :( :( :(
Usually I see them for things like money off vacations or additional wine. I have never ran across any for things like bread, etc.
umm....that is why I have never seen them in my state. Are there laws against winetags in some states?
I live in a wet county, I mean you can go to any store in town and buy any kind of liquor. But we do not have wine tags on anything.
I live in Texas
I'm from Georgia and I saw one today in Kroger, it was for $3 off seafood wyb the wine it was on. Don't remember which one was one, I just quickly glanced at it as I was walking by.
I'm in Mississippi and to my knowledge grocery stores here don't sell wine. (They do sell things like Boone's Farm and wine collers.) Would bottles in the liquour store have the tags?
