Hello fellow couponers!

Hello everyone!

I might be getting a bit ahead of myself when I refer to me as a couponer.

I've been trying to figure it all out for a week or so now, and I was very excited when I redeemed my first coupon combined with a really good sale. Best priced cheese I ever bought, and I'm pretty sure it tastes better than the full-priced stuff.

Coupons have intrigued me, especially when I hear of people getting stuff for free or HUGE savings every week using them. I'm getting into this now because after many hours of tears and sleepless nights, my husband and I agreed quitting my horrible job was the best thing for both of us, and we would live on one income. Needless to say, I'm so much happier but obviously the finances are significantly tighter. We've cut what we can cut with our monthly bills. I realized that my grocery spending was pretty random. There's just 2 of us and sometimes I'd overspend and we'd throw stuff out, and sometimes I wouldn't go and we'd eat out 3+ times per week.

I'm looking for any and all advice, and I'm looking forward to meeting some lovely new people.
